The high school boys basketball season is underway, and many talented players are vying to make a name for themselves and lead their teams to the WIAA state tournament in Madison. Here are 50 players from around Wisconsin to keep an eye on this season:

Evan Anderson, sr., 6-4, Onalaska

A University of South Dakota commit, Anderson is one of the top players in the state. He averaged 18.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 53.8% from the field last season. He has scored 1,321 points in his career.

Isaiah Allen, sr., 6-4, Milwaukee Lutheran

A first-team all-conference player in the Woodland East Conference last season, Allen will play at NCAA Division II Northern Michigan. He averaged 15.6 points and 9.6 rebounds for a team that won 15 games in 2022-23.

Jaydon Awe, jr., 6-8, Stevens Point Pacelli

Awe had an impressive sophomore season, earning player of the year honors in the Central Wisconsin-South. The forward averaged 17.4 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

Pierce Arenz, sr., 5-10, Kiel

Arenz is Kiel's all-time leader in steals and assists while scoring more than 1,000 career points. He averaged 18.9 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.8 steals last season. He will play at Division III Wisconsin Lutheran.
